Welcome to your Yoga Nidra practice. This yoga nidra is inspired rolling dessert dunes of the Sahara Desert under a million and one twinkling stars. It’s here that I invite you to come on a journey with me into yoga nidra or yogic “sleep”. Consider this time together a power nap to reset your body and mind into it’s best state of peace, calm, release, rejuvenation and ease.
Please make sure you are somewhere deeply comfortable, lying down and where you won’t be disturbed for the next 20 minutes.
Know that you can use and repeat this practice anytime to calm your nervous system, reduce your stress levels and energise your body. In the parasympathetic ‘rest and digestion’ state of the nervous system, deep healing occurs. Yoga Nidra is perfect for any day you’re worn out, low on energy or on any day at all just before bed for the deepest night’s rest.
